Day 01. Bali – Labuan Bajo – Rinca Tour

Upon arrival transfer to harbor to catch a boat cross to Komodo island. Lunch will be provided. After boating for approximately 3 hours, in the early evening arrive at RINCA island.

If time permits take the chance to trace the dragons on the island. Dinner and overnight on board or at Ranger’s house.

 

Day 02. Rinca – Labuan Bajo – Ruteng 

Early breakfast on board, start your trekking, walking through the typical dry forest to explore the Komodo dragon, wild animals and various species of tropical birds.

A local ranger will lead you to enter this nature preservation. Return to the boat and sail back to Labuan Bajo.

Lunch will be provided on board. Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo drive directly to Ruteng. En route visit Cara village where one can witness Lingko – the spider web shaped rice fields.

Dinner and overnight at Ruteng

 

Day 03: Ruteng – Bajawa

Ruteng is a small town in the backbone of Flores ,neighbouring Ruteng Nature Conservation Park – the home of Ngkiong – the endemic singing birds.

Visit the park during the early morning hours , to enjoy singing of different species of birds .There is also a volcano in the park.

Continue afterwards to Bajawa and enjoy the beautiful panoramic views enroute . Take your chance for photo stops. The first stop will be at Ranamese – a crater lake with cloud forest.

Lunch in Bajawa.

Afternoon visit Naru village and Wogo one of the big traditional villages of Ngadha ethnicity

Overnight in Ruteng

 

Day 04: Bajawa – Ende

Visit the morning market of Bajawa then visit Ngada village in Langa and Bena which are beautifully located at the slope of volcanoes.

Drive then to Boawae – a village belonging  to Nagekeo  ethnic group which is guarded by an ever smoking volcano of Ebulobo. Proceed afterwards to Ende with another stop at Penggajawa beach – where people collect blue pebbles for trading.

Upon arrival in Ende visit the exile house of Mr Sukarno – the world famous Indonesian Founding Father. Lunch in Ende. Afternoon visit Wolotopo, a typical coastal settlement of Lio ethnic with animistic shrine and Ikat weaving.

Drive then towards Nuabosi until reach the vantage point to enjoy an aerial view of Ende town which is fortified with volcanoes and beautifully located in the south coast of Flores.

 

Day 05: Ende – Kelimutu – Maumere

Early morning drive up to the three colored lake of Kelimutu, one of the Indonesia’s most mysterious and dramatic sights.

The three lakes are set in deep craters at a height of 1,600m.Down to Moni for breakfast, then continue to Maumere with stop at Lio hill where the tribes of Jopu and Ranggase, offers fine Ikat weaving.  Last stop is the village of Wolowaru.

Lunch is provided.

 

Day 06: Maumere – Next Destination 

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport. Depart for Bali or your next destination.
